Feeling at home and comfortable in your work environment is essential, especially for those of us who give so much in our therapists roles. At homebase, we have created a space that prioritises the needs for both the therapist and the client.

Private practice can be a lonely place. What we value most at homebase is providing a space to empower solo practitioners with independence and an innovative environment to help them thrive, whilst also maintaining social connection and relatedness.

Designed for long-term hire to prioritise a community feel in-house, homebase offers full-time or part-time consult room hire with the following inclusions:

  • Large, quiet and natural-light filled consult rooms with aesthetic and efficient furnishings designed for therapists

  • Staff room designed for collaboration and connection, with kitchenette, shared lunch space, tea, coffee and beverages for both therapists and clients

  • Scheduled peer supervision, social and networking opportunities

  • Split-system AC and ceiling fans in each room

  • Free on-sight parking for therapists, in addition to nearby public transport options and abundance of street parking for clients

  • Security system, NBN/WiFi, power and utilities

  • Stationery, shredder and shared therapy resources

  • Located next to a coffee shop and walking distance from cafes, grocery stores and the best of Paddington’s retail precinct

FAQs

  • homebase is a collective for allied health professionals who see clients, either face or face or via Telehealth for mental and physical health treatment.

    This can include psychologists, counsellors, psychotherapists, dieticians, occupational therapists, nutritionists, social workers, and more. If your professional falls outside of these categories, we would still love to hear from you to discuss if a room at homebase would be right for you!

  • The rooms at homebase are designed to be fully furnished, including therapy/therapist couches, a desk, desk chair, side tables, and intentionally curated decor that brings a sense of warmth and safety.

    Therapists will just need to bring their own tech (i.e., laptop, chargers, cords etc) and other therapy-related resources.

  • If you are hiring a room full-time at homebase and want to furnish your own room, this can be definitely be arranged pending room availability.

    If you are hiring a room on a part-time basis, there will be secure storage options available for you to leave items/paperwork in clinic, however because the space will be shared the room will come furnished as standard.

  • Absolutely! This is one of the main reasons why homebase was founded - to bring health professionals together in what can otherwise be a lonely private practice space. homebase will offer scheduled social and professional events, including peer supervision regularly to enhance community and connection amongst the team.

  • As homebase utilises social and professional media platforms, each team member will have a profile piece on the homebase website, as well as marketing opportunities on the homebase social media profiles (Including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn).

    Additionally, homebase will be a part of referral networks with other professionals in the area, where opportunities for internal and external referrals will be available.
